If you wear a heavy metal t-shirt, then anyone that's a fan of that same band can make a comment to you or say something about the band and you'll strike up an immediate conversation. It’s like a conversation starter that you wear, even though it might not always be a positive one.

If you're wearing a Dallas Cowboys t-shirt; anyone that dislikes that team can instantly look at you and know that you're his or her enemy. You might not get as nice of a comment, although it can definitely launch a conversation. There are so many different things that a t-shirt can say. Sometimes they do not have to say anything. They can simply be blank.
