The Rocker Dvd Available January 27, 2009

THE ROCKER DVD is full of bonuses and special features that provide a full hour and a half of extra material for fans to jam to, and will be available to own on January 27, 2009. THE ROCKER DVD has been called one of the surprising comedies of the summer, and has all of the fan favorites included as far as extras go. There are 10 deleted scenes, lots of cast and crew interviews and a gag reel that includes separate options of Matt Gags and Vesuvius Gags.

THE ROCKER DVD specifically includes a commentary with Josh Gad, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, and Teddy Geiger. There is also an Office Rocker featurette with Rainn Wilson, an interview with director Peter Cattaneo, a Vesuvius featurette titled Behind the Band, another called Rock Beat with Fish Fishman, and still another featurette with the title Rock Tales. There is an MTV Film Festival panel that is also included, the Im not Bitter music video, four podcasts, Vesuvius public service announcements, and a feature titled Fox Movie Channel Presents..In Character with The Rocker.


In addition to THE ROCKER DVD becoming available to fans, the movie will also be released in Blu Ray Disc format. It is presented in widescreen format on a 50 GB disc with MPEG 4 compression. It will have English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio, and there are also English, French, and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital track. This DVD also contains English and Spanish subtitles.

While THE ROCKER was released months ago, the DVD provides fans with bonus material that all friends like to watch. The Prebook Date was December 31, 2008. The manufacturer will be offering THE ROCKER DVD with a suggested retail price of $29.98 for the two Disc DVD. It is rated PG 13, runs for approximately 102 minutes, and is closed captioned as well.

Richard Roeper has called THE ROCKER flat out funny, and the movie has also been deemed the surprise comedy of the summer. THE ROCKER on DVD and Blu Ray Disc will be available on January 27, 2009. Rainn Wilson, who has starred in The Office and Juno, is Robert Fishman (AKA Fish). Fish is living out his dream of being a rock n roll star after being kicked out of a 80s rock band. Twenty years later, he joins his nephews rock band and undergoes a mid life crisis of sorts. Before this time, he had spent 20 years working in an office living a fairly hum drum life and dreaming about the star he could have been.
