Tahrir Square Overloaded With Demonstrators Demanding Day Of Departure

Tahrir Square in Cairo is flooding with demonstrators requiring that Leader Hosni Mubarak resign in a "Day of Departure." Mubarak, the long serving president of Egypt, has said he won't run for re-election in September of this year. That has not appeased the protesters. Calls for his resignation have only increased. This is one situation where he won't be able to take out a pay day loan and buy off the protesters.
Nevertheless lots of Tahrir Square protests taking place
There have been supporters of Mubarak attacking the demonstrations in opposition to the government Leader Hosni Mubarak has in place in chaos in Tahrir Square in Cairo for the last few days. The square has been stuffed with physical violence with the anti-government protestors on the scene. In fact, Mubarak has been told to leave immediately. He is being told to leave in a "Day of Departure" or "Friday of Departure" more specifically. This is what NPR reports. In September, Leader Mubarak has promised not to try and get re-elected. Still, protestors demand Mubarak to leave now. Mubarak is being asked to leave by more people too. The international community is making this clear.
Followers of Mubarak appear in demonstration region
The Egyptian army has cordoned off Tahrir Square while anti-government demonstrators fill up it to capacity. However, pro-Mubarak protesters have infiltrated the area for the past few days, which has led to violent situations. The Christian Science Monitor explains the Mubarak followers didn't like journalists much. The journalists would get singled out. CNN anchor Anderson Cooper was beaten and threatened while trying to get away. At the same time, over a hundred incidents of physical assault were recorded. Foreign and domestic journalists have been in harm's way, as the Cairo offices of Al-Jazeera were stormed by pro-Mubarak "thugs."
Mubarak takes a stance and doesn't waiver
Even when the unrest started, President Mubarak will not leave. He has made it clear that he doesn't intend to. There has not ever been a full democratic election confirming him into the office seat even though he has been in for 30 years. In a recent interview, he said that he was tired of public service but claimed that "there can be chaos" and "the Muslim Brotherhood will take over" if he leaves right away, in accordance with MSNBC. A transitional government might take place soon with the talks that he has been having with leaders of opposition groups.
