Tax Benefits As A Way To Create Wealth

Tax benefits, as a way to get ahead in life are nothing new. I think what stops people from using them is only going to be one of two things. It is either going to be bought about by a fear of the things we don't know, or a mind set which says I can not do this it's only for business professionals.

The reality, for both of these things, is that they can both be dissolved relatively easily. I also think the Tax department does not want what I am about to divulge getting out to too many people either. This is considering that if (when) it does get out it means they will have to attempt to change governing law. Depending on what type of law the country is working under this can take up to 7 years to achieve.

You see, the reality is that one of the primary reasons some people get ahead is because they are using the systems tax laws ( the same ones the kings and queens use to retain their wealth) to their advantage. This stuff is as old as the hills but I am astounded at how many people are not utilizing it

It is so simple, and yet so devastatingly effective. Now, depending on where you are exactly, in the world (I am in New Zealand) it is possible to do something like what I lay out below, in order to create wealth, or get ahead faster at an accelerated rate than if you don't do this. It is all very simple. Just follow along and you will see what I mean

First, contact your local IRD pack and tell them that you want to become self employed
Second, register with Inland Revenue Department as a sole trader
Third, pick the type of business you want to be in (writing e-books, Internet marketing, home and garden care, consultant to the stars – whatever)
Then start claiming your expenses.

Now, this sounds really simplistic and easy, doesn't it
And it is!
You see that is the whole deal, with a lot of things. They are made to seem very complex and hard to do. The reality is that they are not. They are very simple

Now, to finish off what has been started here. Because I choose to be self employed, as a sole trader, I can claim certain expenses from home. This is actually an extremely good way of reducing my mortgage. I can claim whatever square footage (meterage) I use for office space, and car parking, and workshop space, as a tax rebate. If the total area I use is 22% of the total square area then that is what I claim.

Last year I got $3000 back, just for doing that one thing. Now, it may not seem like much but, how else do you get $57.69 every week for doing absolutely nothing. On top of this I got 50% of my phone line rental, 100% of my broadband costs and about $80.00 worth of tolls, 17% of my electricity for the year, depreciation off my computer at 48% of its book value, my car also got depreciated and I claimed that as well.

All up, guess what, I got in excess of $6000.00 in rebates alone. I have not mentioned a whole lot of stuff you can get rebates for. This is just a very basic list. But At $115.00 per week (my grocery bill) it is not hard to see how people get ahead.
My next article discusses this further, but you really do need to be in business, folks, if you really want to create wealth. You don't have to look very far to find a free system to help you either.
