Global warming is one of the biggest issues staring the world today. A combined report based on the work of many scientists and countries concluded that humans are responsible for most of the current planetary warming. We are discharging more CO2 in the atmosphere than plants and oceans can absorb. Cars are to a great extent responsible for emitting carbon dioxide into the air. We can stop using our old cars and they can be recycled and converted into very familiar household objects…like door knobs, bicycle, freezers etc.

One has to file returns and end up paying taxes want it or not. It is worse if you realize that you have to pay more money to the taxman than you can pay at the time. There is one simple answer for tax relief: charitable deductions.


Most people will assume that donations can only be made in cash, but no there is another option you can donate your old car which you have not used for a long time and are finding it very difficult to sell. There are many registered charity organizations that will take your car without any conditions, may even re-cycle it, and you will get your tax relief. Some things have to be done to claim a deduction on the donation of your vehicle.

You need to get your car which you are planning to donate evaluated. Some charities take very old vehicles in bad condition, as they can sell them as scrap. It is very essential to find a charity you believe in and they are registered. Donating for just tax relief is one thing, but it is more satisfying to donate to one you feel strongly about!
