The 10 Power Principles of Cosmic Ordering
It could be said that 2006 was the Year of Cosmic Ordering - Noel Edmonds raised the profile of the subject massively on the Michael Parkinson TV Show. In fact Noel Edmonds claimed that it was Cosmic Ordering that had led him to his renewed success on TV with the daytime show "Deal or No Deal' (Channel 4)
The basic premise of Cosmic Ordering is that if you want something, all you have to do is to ask the Universe (The Cosmos) and wait for it to satisfy your request.
Thousands of people were guided by his inspiration and a flood of books hit the shelves. But it seemed that the buzz was soon over since the vast majority of people failed to make the system work for them.
It just didn't seem to work 'out of the box' as it should.
Like many others at the time, I was intrigued by the claims. As a trained scientist, I did not believe that the Universe was answering specific requests in a caring, sensitive and timely manner - but I did recognise that some people were finding success with the method.
I set about looking at the evidence and asking How this process was working.
After several months of research the truth fiannly dawned on me:
it wasn't that the Universe was answering any requests, it was that the person making the request was learning how to spot opportunities that the Universe was unwittingly presenting to them.
This meant that the whole process of Cosmic Ordering as previously taught must be completely the wrong way around.
More importantly, it provided a scientific reason to explain how Cosmic Orderingreally worked - and with a solid reason there had to be a solid, repeatable way of making it work for anyone.
So the magic isn't that the Universe is caring, it's that the brain can be trained to spot and then act on opportunities as they are presented.
And since the universe is huge and immensely complex, the opportunities can be presented in an incredibly wide and almost infinite number of ways - if only we can learn how to recognise them and make them work for us.
I describe the Universe as behaving like a large, powerful and ever-flowing river of ideas. It flows past us carrying suggestions and answers. Our job is to spot them and to then take action.
I recognised that if you applied a simple process to the way you dealt with the Universe, you could make the request and then be in a very strong position when it came to the next stage - that of recognising the solutions.
To explain, let’s go back to the original – classical theory of Cosmic Ordering.
Basically it’s in 5 steps
We make a request
We pass it to the Universe
We believe the Universe has infinite power & energy and can supply the result
We await the result as the Universe mulls over your request.
We accept whatever the Universe offers.
What I discovered was that step 4, the part where the Universe takes an active role, is completely wrong. The Universe actually supplies solutions in a passive and indifferent way.
Basically this means that all the ‘accepted wisdom’ about Cosmic Ordering really wasn't worth the paper that you wrote your requests on!
Because it ignored the most important person in the process.
YOU!
And in doing so, it leaves the entire outcome completely to chance.
But you don't have to accept that way - not any more - not with the Power Principles.
If you can afford to leave your future to chance, then carry on with the old method. Go and buy all the other books about the subject that have been written, but bookmark this page first, because I can guarantee that you'll be back when you realise they just don't work.

This is better for so many reasons, including...
It's simpler
It makes more sense.
It doesn't rely on magic
It can be tested and refined.
It can be taught as a simple set of Principles or Guidelines that work for anyone
It also explained why Cosmic ordering works for some people, but fails to work for others. Some of us are just naturally better at spotting the many solutions on offer.
But all of us can improve here, because this is just a new skill which can be taught and learned.
