Do you remember the days when you would use your mom's iron to try to get that iron to stick to your t-shirt? Well, a lot has changed since the old days. First and foremost, the quality of iron-ons, which are commonly refered to as heat transfers, has improved quite a bit. Theoretically, any t-shirts should work, but I have found that 50/50 blends work best. One hundred percent cotton t-shirts also work well, but it is important to wash them first to help remove the microscopic loose cotton fibers that can wreak havic on a heat transfer.
