This is primarily due to the fact that most people are preoccupied during the daytime and do not have the availability to go to the auto shop during the middle of the week. This is particularly true not only for those who work outside the home during the daytime, but are also preparing for and coming back from weekend travel. The third best time to go to the auto mechanic is an hour before closing time. Although this may seem like a particularly peculiar idea, it indeed makes a lot of sense when you consider two factors: no one else will probably show up to have their car serviced just before closing and if you are willing to leave your car overnight, your car can be serviced first thing in the morning, even before the first customer arrives.

Whether you realize it or not, there are better times to go to the mechanic. This is especially true with respect to avoiding long waiting lines, crowds and even perhaps overwhelmed repairmen. However, if you want to avoid long lines, crowds and overwhelmed repairmen, you can go to the auto shop early in the morning, the middle of the week and an hour before closing time.
