The Best Of All Free Online Mmorrpg Games

Our boss announced yesterday that we now have a game room in our pantry. They put 3 computers all connected so that players can enjoy playing the game together. The game that is installed is DOTA by the way. My colleagues, since they are really into online games were all happy about the news. They want to take their break already so that they can play in the pantry...bunch of geeks. As for me, since I'm really not into online games, I was like, okay, it's good that the company found a way to at least make their employees feel less stress about their work.

One computer game that I think is very popular these days is what they call "Massively multiplayer online role-playing game" or "MMORPG". According to Wikipedia, "MMORPG is a genre of computer role-playing games in which a very large number of players interact with one another within a virtual game world". The most popular MMORPG today is World of Warcraft. But even though there are a lot of subscribers in this game, some people cannot join this because they don't want to pay money for it. Good thing though there are free online MMORRPG games available as well.

The most popular ones are Runes of Magic and Atlantica Online. Since I don't know these games, I interviewed my colleagues if they have played the game and what do they think about it. Unfortunately, they haven't played the game because again, they are more into the game DOTA. So I just searched for gamers comments and opinion in forums. According to the subscribers from "Makeuseof.com", the game is one of the best free MMORPGs with regard to it's graphics. You actually don't feel like you are playing a free product. Another thing about this game is that it is not a player versus player game so this would be a good thing for a player who just wants to mind their own business.

Atlantica Online however "is a 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by NDOORS Corporation" from Wikipedia. This is another free-to-play online game that is set in an alternate history world. According to gamers, this game has a huge map where you can actually go all over the world from Asia, Europe, to USA. This game by the way was voted top game in the prestigious MMORPG.COM site. One thing that beginners should consider playing this game is a good pc to run due to the graphics of the game. These games make players use their strategic skills as they would be handling their own men. You can even fight with other players in this game and see who has the best tactics.

I think what is good about these kind of games is that you don't just play the game but you also meet new people while playing it. Sure you would need to battle some of them but you can also interact with them in a not so violent way like trading or buying an item from them. I like what this gamers comment in one of the forums I read. He said "So all in all if your looking for a Great Game, that's fun to play without spending your hard, earned money on a monthly fee, this game is worth checking out.
