The Biggest Car Flops In 2011

Every year there are a few cars that just do not live up to expectations. Whether it is because they were over hyped, under designed, or just poor sales performers, the cars on this list have disappointed more than their makers in 2011.

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport
Chevrolet Aveo
Smart Fortwo
Dodge Nitro
Volkswagen Jetta
2012 Honda Civic(made the list because it is available in 2011)
Nissan Titan

The Fortwo has seen its sales drop 98% this year and the Aveo was upgraded by its replacement the Sonic, which is selling well. Unfortunately for Honda, the long lived Civic needed more than a plastic makeover. These turkey's are doing so poorly, that it is possible several of them will not be available next year. Will anyone miss them?
