The Christian Gift Of An Abundant Life
Do you know that your life will always go in the direction of your most prominent thoughts? In order to follow God's plan, you have to think His thoughts for your life, which will in turn encourage and build you up. When you choose God's way, instead of the world's way, you are being a true Christian. Our society today has so many different ideas of what is right and acceptable. We have to always choose God's way. And when you choose God's way, you get God's results! To consistently think the right thoughts will give you the strength to keep moving forward and enlarging you in all aspects of your life! "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory…" I Chronicles 4:10 (NKJV). The key is that you have to make room for it in your thinking. You need to constantly expect that God truly wants to bless you. To do this, each of us has to get out of the (not enough) or the (just enough) mentality, and start to think in the (more than enough) one. There have been many studies done to determine how long it takes the mind to be redirected to a new habit of thought. All these studies done have came up with the same conclusion. It takes 21 days for us to develop a new habit of thought in how we think on a daily basis. Don't just settle for a "good enough" mentality, develop an overflow mentality, and you will start to see God’s hand of blessing in every area of your life! Ephesians 3:18 (NCV) tell us, "With God's power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can as or imagine." God truly desires that we have blessed relationships, good health and a happy career. That is why even before we are born our Father in Heaven equipped each of us with unique abilities and the seeds to become prosperous in our life. God realizes that if His children has an overflow of abundance with more than they need in their lives, as a Christian they will in turn give to others and guide them to rise up to a more abundant life for themselves. We will become a brick in the God's foundation of abundant living that He wants for everyone of His children all over the world. Always remember Matthew 7:7-8 (NLT) "Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for." "Keep on looking, and you will find." "Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened." "For everyone who asks, receives." "Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks." I pray that those who read these words above will take them to heart and start today by asking the Lord to show you His Truth by the power of His Spirit.
