The Difference Between Pepper Spray And Mace

- Pepper spray may cause cases of uncontrollable coughing and gagging. This is due to the constriction of the throat and larynx, and generally lasts ten to fifteen minutes.

The physical effects of mace are:

- Prolonged burning sensation on the affected area.

- Increased nasal discharge

- headache, dizziness, and general discomfort

So now you know the differences between both, and can make a better decision when choosing between mace or pepper spray. Remember, when carrying mace or pepper spray always follow all proper safety precautions.
