The Effects Of An Anxiety Panic Attack

How do you know if you’re having an anxiety panic attack? If you regularly experience several of the following symptoms then you may be suffering from an anxiety disorder:

- Incessant worrying and mental tension.
- Difficulty coping with everyday life and situations.
- Obsessive thoughts of irrational fear.
- Acknowledgement that certain places and situations elevate anxiety symptoms.
- Nausea, stomach upset and difficulty breathing.
- Expectation of negative things occurring in the near future.

Excessive stress is often the cause of anxiety disorders and many other mental illnesses. Although stress is very common and occasional anxiety, excessive stress is very unhealthy for you psychologically and physiologically.

Symptoms can differ since each disorder and individual is different. Symptoms are not always easily diagnosed since anxiety disorders and other mental illnesses share the same symptoms.

The practice of yoga and meditation are excellent ways to reduce stress. Even taking a stroll and having a swim can be of benefit. A full blown anxiety panic attack can catch you off guard but there are distraction and breathing exercises that can help you cope.
