Every kit of an electronic cigarette comes with a manual just like any other gadgets that you buy. The manual consists of information of each accessory of the e-cigar, the function of these accessories, and using the e-cigar as a whole. There is also a trouble shooting manual if ever the e-cigarette malfunctions or a first-aid treatment guide if a first timer experiences several side effects because of not following instructions.
The basic information in the manual is the introduction of the product. Unlike the usual cigarette, no ignition is required to start an electronic cigarette. Therefore, it is not a fire hazard. It contains only nicotine that is obtained from the tobacco plant. Because of this, it does not have tar and any other harmful chemicals, which is commonly present in the conventional cigarette. Because no smoke is produced, smoking it is safe even if a non-smoker is around.
The kit contains a lithium battery, which cannot be replaced by an ordinary battery or even any other lithium battery. You can charge the battery by the charger for which input voltage is AC100-240V, 50/60Hz, or DC 6-24V. Just like some other gadget, the electronic cigarette flashes a red LED light if its battery is becoming empty. It is charged by screwing a charger from the atomizer.
The atomizer serves as the mother part of the electronic cigarette. It consists of the microcomputer-controlled circuit that is responsible in heating up the nicotine solution contained in the cartridge or mouthpiece of the e-cigar. The atomizer can be easily broken while some other parts of the device can function for years.
The cartridge contains the nicotine and the mouthpiece. If it runs out of nicotine, it can be refilled several times. E-cigar nicotine has different amounts to chose from – high, medium, low and zero strength. High nicotine strength has .054 mg of nicotine per puff, which is equivalent to one dose. Medium strength has .042 mg of nicotine per puff equals to one dose too. Low strength contains .033 mg of nicotine per puff that equals to one dose also. Zero strength contains zero mg of nicotine but it has 80% of propylene glycol and 0.1% nicotine.
It is necessary to read the manual first before smoking the electronic cigarette. This is for the proper usage of the device to prolong its lifespan. If the electronic cigarette begins to malfunction and the manual cannot help you, consult the manufacturer. If symptoms and other health problems arise because of e-cigar smoking, consult a doctor who can help you with it. Remember that even if it contains lesser nicotine and produces invisible secondhand smoke, it is still a cigarette and may still cause several side effects in anyone's health. Always smoke in mild amounts if ever you are already doing it.
