The Fighter Movie Left Me Wanting More

Paramount circulated their new, drama movie titled "The Fighter" into movie theaters a couple months ago,and it was one of those feel great motion pictures, but with numerous intense, undesirable drama mixed in. The motion picture stars: Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Melissa Leo,and Jack McGee.

It focused on a fella named Mickey Ward who is an up and coming fighter who's trying to follow in his brother Dicky's footsteps. Dicky had formerly fought boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard, and knocked him down. In contrast, now, his existance populated with a destructive substance addiction that blocks his capability to train Mickey accurately.

Mickey's mama and sibling try to manage his boxing career, yet unfortunately, one terrible incident after another leads him to go a stray to alternate management. His sweetheart Charlene Fleming also supports his final choice. Mickey was a losing boxer, but after parting ways with his family,he managed to put together a winning record.

In the mean time, his brother cleared up his behavior in jail, and helped Mickey earn a title fight via some good boxing assistance from prison. In the end, the movie presented an amazing "feel good" moment when Dicky reunited with his brother Mickey to assist him in the title fight. I won't give away the ending completely, however, I'll just say it was very emotional right at the end. I seriously enjoyed it.

The flick had lots of ridiculous drama, including the girlfriend and the sisters getting into a fight,Mickey getting his hand hurt by the cops over Dickey, and a great deal of verbal altercations. It wasn't the caliber of the old Rocky movies, however, it sort of reminded me of those since it was a boxing flick. I gave the film a solid B grade.
