Collecting Emails is the next task on our program. Obviously, you need a way to talk to your people, and since Email is a great way to talk to people, you have to build a big list of Email contacts. Keep it in your mind to continually find new and inventive ways of trading great information, tools, and training for your prospects Email addresses. Now you've started to build the impression of generosity and caring with your people. Once you have a list, you have to keep it. And not just let it sit in your autoresponder account. It's a good idea to send your list a bunch of thoughtful and problem solving gifts or downloads in their Email regularly. If you can do this, you'll set yourself apart from everyone else, and your list will support you over and over again. Just remember never to give your people crappy gifts. They'll just end up ignoring you after a couple Emails. Think of your list as a bank account.. The more you put in, the more you take out. The final stroke of the match is Making Your Offer. Careful now, don't make your offer unless you're giving and giving some more because that's how Emails don't get opened, or get unsubscribed.
