The History Of Flying Jumpers
Given that Alexander Bock developed this new extreme and amusing style of exercise, transportation, and just unadulterated amusing entertainment, many have trailed developing their own styles of the first powerskips. The Velocity Motion Stilt hit the markets in 2000 in the U.S.A. by StiltWerks INC. However, the trend did not stop there. Hitech & C. Co., a Korean based company, came out with their own version of powerskips, the PoweriSers attempting to takeover the market by making jumping stilts reasonably priced in 2002. The Koreans also designed the very first childrens size of jumping stilts. The Powerisers are made in the Philippines despite their Korean located company. Powerisers were brought to the U.S.A., Europe, and the UK shelves in 2007. A China located company, the Flying Locust, joined the rave in 2004 when they started selling jumping stilts under various names such as Flying Jumper, PowerStrider, ProJump, FlyJumper, SpeedJumper, AirRunner, and JollyJumper. An Austrian company, Future Tech came out with 7Leaguebot because of them being disillusioned with the China based facsimile of jumping stilts. They are now are only offered in Europe and the United Kingdom but can be imported directly through the maker. From 1999 to present time, many businesses, and styles of jumping stilts have shown up. This is due primarily to the mounting market for these highflying jumping stilts by both genders and all age ranges. It started with for the most part pro extreme sport buffs holding the market on these high flyers, but now the market is booming with all lifestyles. Jumping stilts are no longer just for the male group. Gals have joined in on the fun of powerskips and not just for the amazing full body exercise it gives, but because it is just pure fun as well! Who says extremes are just for males. As with everything, especially sports, there are certain hazards, however when you put safety priority you can almost remove any actual injury coming to you. Make sure you always wear proper gear and guards when using any brand of powerskips, follow companies advice, and be sensible and you will have many extremely happy, fun filled days jumping.
