There are some private schools that currently use a computer based system for all of the class work and home work that the kids do. It is a sensible plan that works well for everyone. The teachers have a syllabus for the kids to follow, so there is no confusion. The students can follow this work plan if they are absent for any reason.

When a student has notes and assignments, as well as books online, there is no need to worry about losing anything. It helps the student stay organized as well. Organization is a huge part of doing well with studies of any kind. It is a necessary skill for college as well. Being organized will mean the difference between passing and failing for average students. There are programs that make it easier to keep track of assignments and notes, on the computer.

While some would argue the expense is too great for computer based learning, other will point out, "we can't afford not to utilize these new classroom tools". There are no school books to be purchased because they can be purchased online by the school. There are great websites available for science, math, and reading that are much more helpful than a book with no video or links to more information. Being able to jump online anywhere with wireless internet means that students can do schoolwork any time and anyplace.
