Mission will be our last ingredients for this topic. Many have underestimated this word, killed financially by this word, but some billionaires were born by this word. You must have a mission; you have to define your mission. Simply put, it's how the game plan on how you're going to get your success.
When I first started in this business, I made zero dollars in the first month. I don't get it, why aren't there any profit in my business? My leaders are earning 6 to 7 figures income a month, if they can do it, I can do it. That's what I thought.
But then I realize, my mission, my reasons for doing all of this was for money. All I ever think about was how much money I would make. Well, I'm the main actor there, it was all about me. That's wrong, absolutely wrong.
I'm sure everyone has had this experience when seeing a link that brings you to a site but the link has someone's name on it. Yes, it's an affiliate program, the first think that occurred in my mind when I saw the link was, "Uh-uh, this person is making money of me." Everybody gets that kind of feeling. No one likes to be ripped off.
The way I approach all my prospects and my leads was problematic. They could sense it in all of my words, in all of my email to them. I was making money out of them; I was too desperate and too begging. That kind of approach just rock-bottom me to the ground.
Once I learned that lesson, I began to think in my mind. Just what is the problem with my method? I got it. You have to treat other people good if you want to be treated well. I changed my mission, my focus. I don't think about money anymore. For me, it's about increasing my value to society, increasing my reputation. It was when I changed; I began to see a positive change in my business.
Money is just a by-product in this business. You must do it for your passion, helping others without thinking that you need to make money off them. You got to help them make money, that way; money will eventually be coming to you automatically. Passion is the key, why do some people choose to learn singing when they could just get a degree and work in a corporation? It's their passion. Mariah Carey didn't sing for money, Michael Jordan didn't play for money, it's their passion. When they do something they like, they do it best. Eventually, money will be rolling into their pocket. That's just the way it is.
