The Measure Of The Treasure In The Field
When God sets His Seal upon you He writes His Name upon you. The Seal and the Name of God are then upon your forehead where they are close to your thoughts. And your thoughts are why you are sealed upon your forehead. When you are sealed upon your forehead your mind belongs to God. You can still have thoughts that stray from God and you can have thoughts the devil sows there. But the Seal is God's Stamp of ownership upon your mind. And when God owns your mind your thoughts will tend toward Him. You will be of Him and by Him, for Him and with Him. You will be from Him and to Him. You will be before Him and through Him. When your thoughts stray from God He will always come to bring you back to Him, and the Seal is the guarantee God will return to reclaim you. So the Seal is precious because it is the endorsement of God. Since God's Name is upon you and you belong to Him, you too are precious. You are precious because God is precious. You are valuable because God is valuable. Your worth is great by association with God. The Seal is the field where a wheat Seed is sown. That first wheat Seed is Jesus. He needs your fertile soil to feed the Seed, for sown in you Jesus will grow up and bear much fruit in the world today. In the parable of the field, a man finds the treasure hidden in the field and for joy of it goes and sells all he has and buys that field. You have found the hidden treasure in the field--the Seal and the Name of God. And when you receive the Seal you take up your own cross and follow Jesus. You do not depend on His Cross for your salvation without taking up your own cross and following Him. So you lay down your own life to receive the Seal. And in so doing you buy that field, paying for it with your own precious life. You sell all that you have, getting rid of everything of value in this life and paying it all for the Seal and the Name of God upon you. Now you are worthy of Jesus, for you have lain down your own life with Him. You are worthy of Jesus and you are worth the value of the hidden treasure in the field. And that treasure is worth Eternity in Heaven. You are also considered a friend of Jesus today because just as He laid down His Life as the wheat Seed falling into the ground and dying, you have lain down your life to become that field nourishing His Seed in the world today. When you face God on Judgment Day you will be able to recount your worth. You belonged to God and you can prove it. You were sealed with the precious Name of God in your forehead while still on earth. You will be worthy because God is worthy. You will be valuable because God is valuable. And you will give up your own life and everything else you have in exchange for the Seal and the Name of God. When you are sealed you will purchase the field. You will own the field and yet it will belong to God, bearing His Name. You will own it together as friends and partners when you receive the Seal.
