The Most Critical Computer Maintenance You Can Complete On Your System
As you would prepare your monthly bookkeeping, you want to schedule your monthly hardware maintenance. This includes registry cleaning, virus updates, spyware updates and firewall updates. The most crucial of all four is registry cleaning. Registry cleaning can hold the heaviest impact on your article writing. Having a overloaded or corrupted registry can potentially take down your pc. One day it boots up just fine and then next day you possess no way to access your computer. There are two kinds of people, those that are extremely passionate about their PCs and love to perform the manual stuff and then there are those like me that possess an understanding of the system, but sort out not really hold the time to tinker with their registry files. I prefer to let a software application guide me. The easiest way to organize this is through a tool that is made for it, but many organize it manually. Since I hold little time to carry out it the old fashion way. I prefer to use software. Using a software application to manage your registry and rolling up your sleeves to perform it yourself are two very different things. For example if you perform it manually without a windows registry cleaner, you run the risk of registry corruption and losing access to the one thing that allows you to access the world, drives traffic to your site and puts money in your bank account. If you have simply one computer than you are losing a lot. Some people have both a laptop and desktop in their homes so losing one pc is not a big deal. Yet having two systems provides more work for yourself if you are doing this kind of maintenance manually. The manual steps are difficult and do take you a lot of time to understand what you are looking at and what to remove. Often times a registry will hold more than just one file. It may share files with other systems and applications. When you delete the wrong file there is no way to reverse what you have done unless you have setup a restore point in your system. The bad part about using the restore point to reverse what you done is you not only reverse the mistake, but you reverse all changes done to the registry. You could essentially have done two hours of work and with that one little mistake wasted all that time and effort by having to use the restore to delete all changes made within that last two hours. Now lets look at the software driven registry cleaner. This cleaner will search your entire windows registry and match it with its unique applications and files. Then it goes again and finds all those files in the registry that are orphaned. Once it defines the orphan files, then it will show you a report defining all the files found. It should at that time suggest what to delete and what to keep. The better registry cleaners will tell you exactly what you will be deleting or repairing. Now it is just a click of the mouse to get your registry back to its pristine state. I hold more information in a free download that will give you even more information than I reported here. I recommend taking a look at the report below. It goes into detail about registry cleaning. It explains it a little more in depth than what I talked about here.
