This sudden growth didn’t mean that the number of users had increased. It meant that the previous users had better facilities than before with high speed internet connection. In the year 2010-11, the amount of users who watched video advertisements showed an increase in percentage when compared to last year’s performance. The increase in percentage was around 3.1%

As per records available, it is known that there were 14.5 billion streams of videos online. This showed an increased rate of 31.1% from last year’s record. The number of audience in November 2010 was more than 172 million.

The amount that is spent on online video advertisement has already exceeded 28$ billion and is rapidly increasing. Larger firms are pouring their money into this form advertising to attract millions of customers. Even smaller firms have found solace in video advertisement. With this amount of rapid increase and the amount of people who are already accustomed to it, video ads can be considered as the king of advertisement in the forthcoming years.
