The Pacman Games Redefined

Pacman, is probably one of the oldest video games one can think of. It was first developed and released in Japan in the year 1980. For the people born in the 60’s and 70’s this game was something that revolutionized their lives in relation to video games.

So, it goes back to the time when most of us weren’t even born. Today, there are thousands of pacman games available online. The basic concepts of these online games are the same only the designs and backgrounds have changed.

In this game, the pacman is the player controlled object o has to cross a maze and reach a particular point. Though crossing this maze is not very simple. It consists of some enemies that have to be avoided. Pacman basically has 4 enemies. These enemies cannot be completely killed. As you play the pacman game, you realize that the enemies can be temporarily slowed down or their powers can be disabled (which they regain after some time).

Pacman, as he moves in the maze collects score points and powers which help him tackle the enemies in way or the other. Despite all this, the pacman looses his life if he comes in contact with the enemy. Once all the lives of the pacman are over, the game is over and the player has to restart.

The enemies of the pacman have been assigned certain tasks. Recently analysts have found out that out of the 4 enemies, the red one constantly chases the pacman and the blue and the pink once try to come in front of it. The orange was believed to behave randomly but a recent analysis of the code has revealed that it chases the pacman most of the times and also moves to the left corner of the maze when pacman moves in a certain direction.

Since its launch, pacman has had several remakes and avtars. Many people have tried and designed different versions of the game. As a result, today you will find various websites offering different pacman games that can be played without downloading. Playing pacman may be considered a very easy task, but it still hasn’t lost its popularity. It is loved by the young and the old equally. One doesn’t need an introduction to this game but do not forget to try the different pacman games available online, you will definitely have the same old fun.
