High levels of progesterone also tend to make you sleepy. However, these will also begin to move out by the second trimester. The odds are in favor of you suffering from heartburn or constipation at this time in your early pregnancy. Heartburn, a common sign among early signs of pregnancy is due to slower digestion, while constipation is due to increase in progesterone. All these issues will move out by the beginning of the second trimester. Don’t worry about these things. The joy of feeling your baby move for the first time, and hear it’s tiny heart beating. These are things you will never forget. This is what you will cherish forever.
