The Plasma Bracket – Saving Space In Your Office
The beauty of using the wall top mount your screens is fairly obvious from the word go. In terms of usable space, the walls in your place of business represent massive potential storage areas. A plasma bracket allows you to utilise those areas effectively and for the right price. You can get a bracket to fit pretty much any normal size of plasma or LCD TV or screen. In general terms, you will find that these brackets are available in three basic “flavours” – a fixed amount, a tilting bracket, or an extendable bracket. Most extendable brackets also tilt. When thinking about using plasma brackets to store and display your screens and monitors, think about these two things. One: how heavy and how big is the screen? Two: how high up on the wall is it going to go? These two factors will determine the kind of plasma bracket you need to use. Bear in mind that weight is the overall most important issue. You must choose a bracket that not only copes with the size of your TV or monitor, in terms of height and width, but that will safely anchor it to the wall. A plasma screen falling off a wall can be an expensive business in more ways than ne. If you decide that you need to use an extendable plasma bracket (these are really useful in situations where you want to mount a screen to a wall, but need it to hang over other furniture, say a book case or display cabinet), bear in mind that the extending arm carries less weight than a fixed bracket. While the fixed bracket simply bolts the screen to the wall, the extendable bracket holds it out off the wall. Just as you can’t support a heavy weight with your arms extended out in front of you, but can when you hug it to your chest – so an extendable plasma bracket needs to hold a lighter load. If you are having your screens up high (higher then eye level), choose tilting brackets. These will angle the screen down so the information on them can be easily read by people standing below. Lastly, a warning: when you mount your bracket, make sure you do so in the right wall with the mounting screws provided. A sensible tactic is to locate the studs behind the walls and ensure the mounting screws are drilled into those. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com |
