Today I thought I would explain the myth about power-lines that most Network Marketing Companies have.
We all probably have heard of the name Powerline in the scence of network marketing but what is it really.
I know I have search the website for network marketing companies and opted into there capture page only
To receive multiple emails back from them stating something that goes like this:
Martin another 10 people have join your powerline today.
You are in a Great position to join our program right now!
By upgrading to full member now anyone of them that
upgrades after you will be part of your powerline.
So do it now and upgrade!
After reading a email like that you get very excited about the prospect of joining this company.
The way that it’s written sounds like you virtually only have to upgrade to paid member before they do and ones they upgrade you will have 10 people in your own downline straight away doesn’t it.
Well to tell you the truth it’s a Myth!!
It’s a blatant lie to trick you into to joining there program.
I’ll explain.
The reason Powerline’s are a Myth and trick you into signing up is the fact that it’s not just your powerline.
It’s Infact the Whole Companies Powerline.
And sure your part of that powerline.
And Yes it is your powerline but it’s also everybody else’s powerline too!
These 10 people that have opted in could have come from anywhere and not necessarily have come from the same capture page that you opted into. Or to put it another way they more than likely did not come from your immediate upline sponsor. And it is only beneficial to you if they came from your upline.
If they didn’t than they will never be part of your business ever.
Infact they actually could become your competition. And that’s a whole other story I will cover latter.
I have been caught out myself with this marketing ploy and to tell you the true it’s not a good feeling.
So what can you do about it. Well not a lot really. I sergest you don’t fall for it like I did.
There is only one company that I know of that does not have this powerline rubbish. Feel free to check it out in my resource box.
But for now understand the marketing ploy some companies will go through to get you in to there program and really study there program before you decide to join. There are so many network marketing companies out there on the internet that they will go to any length to get you into there program even if it means they have to twist the true slightly.
