The Revelations About Julie Kirkbride’s Claims Swindle Just Keep Coming
Why can’t David Cameron see that his continued support of Julie Kirkbride is beginning to erode his political authority within his own party? His half-hearted support for her, this past weekend, has not been well received by Conservative Party members. Of whom 81% polled want her out.
The longer he continues to support the self serving bitch the longer the revelations about her avarice are going to continue to damage him, the Tories and British politics as a whole. The catalogue of her greed has continued since the revelation that she and her husband, MP Andrew MacKay, whilst living together in their martial home were both claiming full and separate allowances. The furore that ensued cost Mackay his job as adviser to Cameron and ultimately his position as a British MP.
* Over the past few days it has been revealed that Kirkbride has the status of her brother, Ian, recorded as helping her with childcare; He has apparently lived rent-free in and run a business from her Worcestershire home * The billing of camera equipment and computer accessories bought by her brother to parliamentary allowances; * The fact that her sister, Karen, is employed as a part-time secretary, working out of her home in Dorset, over 100 miles away from her constituency and Westminster. Costing the British taxpayer a reported 12,000 GBP per annum,
Theresa May, on Newsnight yesterday evening, steered well clear of lending her voice in support to the embattled and discredited Kirkbride in any way.
Like the vermin she is, she has gone to ground, and is currently in hiding from her own Bromsgrove constituents. Having had her offices attacked by outraged voters, she now hangs up the telephone when contacted by the media. Slamming down the receiver, live on air, when her local radio station attempted to interview her about her outrageous expense claims. It is clear that Kirkbride’s position is becoming more and more untenable, even within her own Party, and it is time for Cameron to act and cut this pariah loose.
As I said earlier today, the longer David Cameron allows this arrogant rapacious woman to remain as MP for Bromsgrove, the more the details of her scandalous expenses claims would be exposed. Now, in addition to those claims detailed above, we find that she increased her mortgage allowance, by 50,000 GBP at the British taxpayers expense on her apartment in London.
Her dry mouthed, lip licking, condescending performance on Sky News, in which she made it clear that her only regret was getting caught, was quite frankly, infuriating. The petition calling for her to stand down as Bromsgrove MP has already attracted over 5000 signatures from her enraged constituents.
Wake up Mr. Cameron and smell the coffee. The Conservative Party will not only lose Bromsgrove, but many marginal seats, if this is allowed to drag on any longer. Remove the Party whip from this unrepentant sow, force her to stand down, and get on with preparing for Government.
