The Sermon Project

The sermon project provides the structure for a sermon meant for the Drupal church website. It has provision for exploring church sermons in several ways. It allows one’s shut-ins as well as travel attendants to be in touch with sermons. The sermons may have sermon series, notes and/or images tracked on them. One may decide not to the mentioned options and hence excluded from the display page on the website.

Installation
Several modules are required, examples being:

CCK: Content Construction Kit. This allows one to add the custom fields to the nodes using a website browser. CCK is a powerful system with a variety of contributed modules for extending its functionality.
Views
File field: this provides the universal file Upload field meant for CCK. It is effectively used to manage audio and video files for site podcasting.
FFPC: Stands for File Field Podcaster. It is the view 2 plug-in which allows one to output the podcast compatible feed which includes the CCK files as RSS enclosure.
Image Cache: It allows one to set up the presets for the image processing. If the Image Cache derivative is not in existence, the website server’s rewrite rules pass that request to Drupal which hands it to Image Cache to generate the file dynamically.
Image field: this provides the image Upload field meant for the CCK.

One must also install the one-pixel file flash media player. There is a code build so as to be used with a Drupal feature module. The module has to be installed and enabled according to the given documentation. The code is built particularly for use with Drupal feature modules. Consequently the module has to be installed and the feature is enabled in accordance with the documentation. There are also relevant-screen cast features in Drupal.
