The Truth About Reprogramming Your Subconscious Mind
Do you ever wonder why things seem to happen to others and pass you right by? Did you know that those people are most likely attracting good and positive things into their life? Are you ready for good things to happen to you? Well, here's how it works:
The human mind is akin to a DVR in some ways. It records things into the subconscious and then plays them back as "programs". The thing is that your subconscious can only play back what has been recorded.
As an example:
Try taping a show on channel 7. Later, try to replay the show that was on channel 5 at the same time. It can't be done, can it? Of course not. You will only be able to see what was on channel 7 because THAT is what was recorded. Your subconscious mind is a lot like that recording, BUT it can be reprogrammed.
To start off the process of reprogramming your mind you need to change your negative energies into positive ones. Start with a few positive affirmations, and cut out negative self talk. For instance, start saying I can, I am, I will, and I did. Then cut out words like can't, won't, and never. This is a start and the results are not going to be instantaneous but the results will come.
Most of us are preoccupied with the things we don't have, rather than being happy with the things we DO have. That is a classic example of a negative outlook and needs to be reprogrammed. In order to start reprogramming your subconscious, you only need to do two things.
First, make sure you are doing your affirmations, then make sure you believe them. You subconscious needs to believe in your statements or they won't work. Tell yourself you will succeed and have a better life. Then always appreciate what you have.
Second, you need to completely relax. This is easier than it sounds, but may take some time to fully get the hang of. All you have to do is find a place where you won't be disturbed for a few minutes. Then think of something or some place that makes you happy. This could be a beach or a patch of woods. Maybe visualize yourself floating in a body of water. Whatever brings you peace and tranquility is what you are aiming for here.
When you have the place visualized, start saying those positive statements to yourself over and over and over. The more you tell yourself those things, the more your subconscious accepts them as fact. Over a short period of time, you will notice a change in your situation with just the mental attitude you have reprogrammed your mind with.
Self confidence, will power, self esteem and character strength are some of the areas you will notice getting stronger. Before long, you will be a powerhouse of positive energy and that is what we are shooting for. Out with the negative energy and in with the good energy, a little at a time.
