The Universe Is Not That Dumb

There is a lot of talk around law of attraction circles about how we use our words. There seems to be a lot of emphasis on saying things right. We hear it all the time, don’t say the words, “I want”. Don’t say out loud, things you don’t want in your world, like cancer, or bankruptcy, or divorce. We’re also told to talk about the things you want in the present tense, as if you have it, so you are aren’t pushing things further out into the future.

Here’s the deal - the Universe isn’t that dumb. It’s never, ever about the words we say and there is no way to formulate a sentence where the words string together so perfectly that the words themselves make magic. They don’t. The Universe only resonates with how you feel. The magic is in the feeling. Period. The only part words play in the equation of magic is how those words make you feel.

Say it however you want to that creates the feeling of excitement. Say it however you can that makes you feel strong. Say it however you might that makes you feel whole and expanded and certain. Sometimes it might feel powerful to stomp your feet and scream and yell. Sometimes you might have to firmly declare what you do not want - and if that firm declaration makes you feel more certain, go with the “don’t want”. If it feels dreamy and inspired to say it as if you have it, then flow with that inspiration. If you can’t find a way to say and feel good, then don’t say it at all.

The Divine Universe doesn’t require a decoder ring or a translator. There isn’t an etiquette book for how best and most politely to petition for favor. The Divine Universe is a friendly place and that friendly place is perfectly set up for you to thrive. You can’t trick the Universe into delivering the goodies when you are fearful, anguished, or anxious by saying the right thing the right way. You can however, just take a deep breath, and expand into the knowing that the Universe conspires on your behalf, always, every time, whether you know the secret password or not.
