The Up And Coming Neighbourhoods Of The Uk
New homes are being built throughout much of London, with a particular focus on the residential sections in the northern end of the city. North London is definitely on the up and coming list, perhaps because of its close proximity to Hampstead, a fairly affluent residential community. As the city grows and the world slowly climbs out of recession, the differences in these two sections are becoming less pronounced. Take a quick jaunt to West London and you’ll be treated to the site of extensive green space and beautiful homes where the middle class and aristocracy have resided for centuries. Here, also, you will see new construction. New homes are being built in Hammersmith as well as the neighbourhoods of Shepherd’s Bush, Castelnau and Barnes. This is one of the most in demand sections of London to purchase a home; properties are certain to increase in value over a fairly short period of time. London’s East End is perhaps the most up and coming section of the city. City planners and real estate developers began the gentrification process of the East End with the building of the Canary Wharf project on the Isle of Dogs and continue it with the building of new homes as the old towers and housing developments are torn down. The London skyline is changing daily, and all of the changes being made are positive ones. This city, which has always stood proud among the world’s capitals, continues to thrive and grow.
