The Value Of Persistence In A Successful Money Making Home Business
Persistence is absolutely a must in creating a successful home based business. It does not happen just because one may want it to be so. Without persistence, you will be beaten before you get started. With persistence you will make it to the finish line of success. To achieve the quality of persistence, you must be very clear about a few important things. These things include: a definite purpose or "why" you are doing this; a strong desire to see it through; the ability to rely upon yourself and be a self-starter; a business plan; a basic knowledge of the business and the ability to cooperate with others who may mentor you; and a personal inner strength to continue, even when things get tough.
A lack of persistence will lead to any failure whether it is in business, education, or personal relationships. However by having this knowledge, you can arm yourself with the tools to succeed in money making home business. Remember that anyone can "want to" do well in a business or any situation in life, but it will require effort. The ore you do, the stronger you will become and the greater the likelihood of success.
Do remember the children’s story of "Three Little Pigs"? In this story, the three pigs each built a house to protect themselves from the big, bad wolf. The first two built their houses of sticks and straw, which were no match for the wolf, and they were eaten. The third little pig built his house out of brick and he was safe. He accomplished his task because he took the time and built a safe and strong house.
While this is a simple child's story, parallels can be drawn to building a business. Visualize building the house as building your business. It takes a strong foundation and a plan. If you don't take the time and use the proper tools and materials to build it, your business won't succeed. Your "wolf" may appear in the form of negative family members and friends, or even yourself. Many people even sabotage themselves in their activities by a lack of planning, doing, and following through.

Taking notes and keeping a journal of thoughts and ideas is also helpful. This is a good place to explore ideas and to reflect. It can also be a great retrospective experience as you look back at your progress and growth.
Stick to your business plan. Write down your goals and how to achieve them. There is something about writing things down which seems to make them more real. Develop both long term goals and short term goals. Your short term goals address the things you want to achieve this month or week. The long term goals may be for one or five years. It will not happen overnight, but with persistence and a strong plan, you can create a successful money making home business and achieve your financial freedom.
