The Best Time To Plant A Tree Is 20 Years Ago. The Second Best Is Now.

I can't take any credit for that wicked cool title. It's an old Chinese proverb. But it really opened my eyes when I saw it. To me, what it basically comes down to is "Yeah, you could have, should have, WISH you had started 'Project X' way back when you first thought of it. You didn't though.

But guess what? You can start today. It's never too late." Heck, Colonal Sanders was 65 years old when he opened up his franchise. I'm sure at times he had wished he had done it earlier too, however it did not stop him then. He still decided to pursue his dream and spent the last 25 years of his life as an Icon and is still an inspiration to this day to many people.

The point I'm getting at is the power of taking action right now. Hugely Enormous Massive Action! Don't keep putting off what can be done today. If you have a dream go for it and don't let anyone stop you. Your time is your most valuable commodity. It is the only thing you can't get more of and the only thing you can't get back. So use it wisely.

I know all of us are guilty of having this mentality at one point or another. Just don't let it bum you out. If you are reading this you are alive, healthy and have time. So get off your booty and do your thang. Plant that tree today! Just take action now. One of my mentors when I first met him told me he would use that word a lot... N.O.W. - No Opportunity Wasted. Very powerfull when you really think about it. Think about the power of Now until it evokes such emotion that compells you to take action!
