The Phone And Cable Companies Are Scrambling To Kill Net Neutrality
The phone and cable companies are scrambling to kill Net Neutrality so they can inspect and filter content, and overcharge you for using the Web in ways they don't like.
Over the past six months alone, these companies have hired 500 lobbyists in Washington to try to stop this bill from becoming law.
The Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2009 (H.R. 3458)
protects Net Neutrality by ensuring that the Internet is free from blocking, censorship and discrimination.
More than 1.5 million Americans have already called on Congress to protect Net Neutrality. Please stand with us by co-sponsoring the Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2009.
It's up to you to tell your members of Congress to side with the public -- not with the corporate lobbyists -- and take a final stand for an open Internet by supporting the Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2009 (H.R. 3458).
If you value the freedom you have on the Internet you must let Congress know, we're fighting some of the biggest corporations in the United States and their lobbyist it's only interested in accomplishing because of our numbers that we will win.
This is really a grassroots petition.we are the government, not the corporations with billions of dollars for lobbying
the only thing we have is our voices to Congress please join the 1.5 million that have already called on Congress
Don't hesitate to sign the petition now!!
Once again it's all up to us.
lets win his one and stop big money from making laws that are for them and against the public interest
this is the only way we can let our congressmen know how we feel, and if they vote against us we want them to know that their jobs may be in jeopardy.
