You can also encourage people in your product who may have received it from someone else to come and sign up for your newsletter and so multiply the size of your list.

Viral marketing multiplies your marketing efforts and so is an excellent way to advertise your website. You will not only be offering your visitors a product which is of high perceived value for free and so encourage them to buy something from you but you will also produce a huge sales force of people selling your products through giving the product away to their friends and perhaps even their website visitors. The important thing about viral marketing is to offer a high quality product for free with your website ad in and tell others that they are welcome to share it with their friends or visitors.
