The Tale Of Taillights

Cars have always been a desired accessory for the people in past but today it has become a necessity. In fact now people have started moving a step forward to customize their cars. The lighting system is the first and foremost part that is modified. Lighting system consist of headlights, taillights, rear lights, dim dim lights etc.

The tail ,lights as the name suggest are present at the rear end of the car. They are not as illuminated as the headlights. Where on one hand the purpose of headlight is to illuminate the way to be travelled, the tail lights help the cars coming from the back to know about the fact that some other car is travelling. Apart from this the car taillights find their application when the car needs to be reversed. You need to see what is behind your car before you proceed.

With the advent of time the car taillights have modified in both looks and functioning. If we compare the present day taillights with those used in earlier times we can see that it has come a long way.

In earlier times the taillight was not considered as important as the headlights. Little emphasis was laid on the improvement of the taillights. The car taillights are combined with the car’s stop lamps. By this we mean that when ever the driver applies brakes, the tail lights automatically glow. It must be noted that the tail lights remain illuminated till the brakes are depressed. This function helps the driver in the car at back know from a distance that the brakes have been applied.

Apart from being a useful accessory, the car taillights are an integral part of the car design. Can you even imagine a car with out a car taillight. I guess the answer is no. no one can really imagine a car like that. It would seem as if something is missing in the design.

Today many special accessories are being designed to enhance the look of the car taillights. Angel eyes is one such approach. In this a LED is embedded in the car taillight giving it an appearance of human pupil. These days it has become one of the most sorted out accessory. The car taillights are seen in red color. There is a reason for opting for the red color in specific. As we all know that red is a color that can be seen from the longest distance compared to the lights of other colors.

Here we sum it up that the car taillights are an integral part of the car design. They are equally contributing in the beauty of the car as the other accessories.
