If there are millions of people marketing for the same keyword or phrase it is unlikely you will show up on the 1st page anytime soon. So to find out how much competition there is for your keyword, go back to Google and put that keyword or phrase in the search box. When you look for this, you want to look at the number of results that come up. You can find that information on the right side of the page towards the top. It will say something like "results 1-10 of 1,587,241". If you are just beginningyou want that number to be around 350,000-600,000. If you follow these secrets you will have a keyword that is getting an adequate amount of searches, but is not too competitive yet.
