Having offices in the foothill of a minor forest with a constant supply of wildlife is a great enticement. People are fascinated by most creatures of nature. Clients look forward to the sights and sounds that they are likely to encounter.

Think of the warm feeling you get when you go to the zoo. Any business lucky enough to be located close to one will reap the benefits of their patrons lifted mood from happy childhood memories. This is like getting a "thumbs up" before they ever enter your building.

Where you decide to put your business is just as important as any other decision you will ever make and that is true online as well as offline. The bottom line is that your company will be far more profitable with a popular location, particularly if you can gain niche specific business who will be looking for exactly what you have to offer.

Make sure the area you select for your business does not offer the services or merchandise that is the main frame of yours. For example, if there is a pizza shop, you could benefit if you were planning to put in a house of hamburgers. However, a second pizza shop would just offer a competition that could not benefit either of you.

Look for the opportunity to solve a problem with your location. Even little things can be extremely profitable if they serve a need in the right location. Take for example a mobile snow cone stand that you can wheel onto a park where little league baseball games just happen to be played every Saturday.

You know how you find two to four service stations on a corner? Well you can bet that at least one and probably two of those service stations is making a lot less profit than they could in a site with less competition. Look for a place that is in need of your products or services.

Choosing what type of business you want to have can be a very tedious task but just keep searching for ways to provide value and you will find something that will work for you.

Also if you are already in business for yourself the same principles still apply. Look for away to make your clients lives better and or more convenient then your competition does. Trust me on this, over time you will be handsomely rewarded.

The most sales can be made when the customer's convenience is not only considered, but obliged. Being able to look forward to the location at which your needs are met is the preface to a good transaction.

Do you have any idea how many deals are made while playing golf, or at a lunch, or drinks thereafter? Chucky Cheese is a really clever mouse. Any five year old boy will be a happy camper if you take him out to Chucky Cheese for dinner and fun.

Last, but not least, deal honestly with everyone and always offer a firm handshake with every client and look them in the eye as you do it. They will leave you with a feeling of confidence and security that when you give your word on something, you mean it!
