2. Make yourself visible by adding posts and answering inquiries. As a new member of the forum, you have to let others know about your expertise and your willingness to help. Answer questions as best as you can whenever possible and be respectful and polite. Don't make irrelevant posts that may annoy other forum members.

Some forums do not allow people to leave their links whenever they post messages and when they do, these links should be highly relevant to the topic being discussed. Unless it is connected to the topic at hand, a certain link should not be included in a forum post.
