The first mistake that many business managers and owners make however, is to run out and buy less expensive Family-FRS radios. Their light, cheap, compact and will often come with a handy clip attached to them. While that may seem expensive when compared to the cheapo's on the shelf at Radio Shack, they are going to last for years. Also, the batteries in them will stand up for the long haul and if properly maintained can last for years as well.
