Cell phones are great and they are invaluable as a business tool, but more and more of todays businesses are finding that in certain applications, two way radios work so much better. The first mistake that many business managers and owners make however, is to run out and buy less expensive Family-FRS radios. Their light, cheap, compact and will often come with a handy clip attached to them. However; in very short order, the cheapo batteries in them begin to fizzle out, the clips break and after a drop or two they will have tape keeping expanding cracks in them closed.

While that may seem expensive when compared to the cheapo's on the shelf at Radio Shack, they are going to last for years. Also, the batteries in them will stand up for the long haul and if properly maintained can last for years as well.
