With smart phones, laptops, and TVs in nearly every home, it might be easy to assume that reading has fallen by the wayside. This information is powerful and the children understand that. A child’s brain is like a sponge and can absorb far more information on their favorite subjects that you would think is possible. If you don’t believe this, just ask a child about their favorite subject and you will learn things you never knew or had long forgotten. The confidence that your kids gain from reading can last all their lives. Reading blends fun and education in a versatile, approachable way that makes it appropriate for any child at any reading level. It also improves academic achievement, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. If you can instill a love of reading in a child at an early age, it will be a great pastime for them and improve their personal and professional lives later on.
