"three Fun Things About Mystery Shopper Employment"

Let’s be honest: Most people don’t seek mystery shopper employment to get rich. By the time you figure in the time you spend going to a store, buying something, and returning home to write a report about it, you will find that you are barely making minimum wage, if that.

But there are other good reasons to become a mystery shopper. Here are the top three.

#1. Mystery Shopping Allows You To Try New Things

Maybe if it weren’t for your mystery shopper employment you never would have had the nerve to walk into that ritzy store or work out at that brand spanking new gym with the most modern equipment. Being a mystery shopper lets you experience new products and services that you might never have had the chutzpah to try on your own.

#2. Mystery Shopping Allows You To Take On Different Characters

As a mystery shopper you can dress up in clothes you wouldn’t normally wear and try on all different kinds of personas: the complaining customer, the wealthy socialite and the hypochondriac patient to name just a few. Mystery shopper employment requires you to act, to be someone you’re not, and many people get a kick out of this part of the job.

#3. Mystery Shopping Helps Other Consumers

Some people accept mystery shopper employment as a way of helping others. If they can suggest concrete ways for companies to improve goods or services, perhaps other customers will have a better experience.

Don’t become a mystery shopper if you’re looking to make a lot of money fast, but if you like to try new things, take on different characters, and help other people, mystery shopper employment just might be a good part time job for you.
