Tips On How To Curl Hair

How often do you curl your hair? Are you experienced in curling hair? The reason I ask this is because some people curl their hair but don’t really know how to. If you don’t know how to properly curl your hair then don’t worry about it, I will show you a few tricks and tips to curl your hair the right way and with ease.

Tips On How To Curl Hair

Start from the bottom – The first tip that I have for you is to always start from the bottom of your hair. The reason you need to start the curl from the bottom of your hair is because even if you plan on leaving the bottom straight and only curling the top it will look funning if you start in the middle. Trust me on this one, spending the extra time will greatly affect the look of your hair.

Always brush hair first – Another tip is that you should always brush your hair first before you curl it. The reason why you want to do this is because you want to make sure you get all the tangles out before you curl your hair or else you will have to brush it afterwards and this will most likely pull apart the curls. Do yourself a huge favor and just brush your hair, it will be easier for you.

Never wet hair – One thing that I should not have to mention although many people forget is that you should never curl wet hair. The reason you should never curl wet hair is because often times the curling rod will dry out your hair quicker if it has water on it. Another thing it will do is leave your hair smelling burnt so unless you like that smell I would suggest staying away from the water.

Little chunks work best – The last tip is that you should always curl little chunks of hair at a time. The reason why you should do this is because putting too much hair in the curling iron will ensure that only parts of your hair actually heat up and stay curled. If you don’t care about your curls staying in then this doesn’t matter but if you want them to stay in for at least a day then make sure you do little pieces of hair.

The last thing you need to understand is that curling your hair perfectly will take some practice so just don’t give up and keeping doing what you are doing until you get it just right.
