Tips To Get Those Abs You Always Wanted
If your diet is not well balanced then no amount of exercise will help you get them. Also be sure that you are drinking enough water every day. Staying hydrated is very important for an exercise routine that you are starting. It is also very important that you do not over do it when you start a new routine. You can injure yourself by trying to do too much. It is also very discouraging if you are too sore to work out. Start out at a level that is comfortable for you. You do not want to sabotage your own success. You should only work out every other day or so when you first start. You should not work out more than 5 days a week and you should at least do 3. It is also very important to stretch before working out. You should make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing and you have an area big enough to work out in. The next step is to put on some music that you find to be motivating. If you get bored in the middle of your work out it will be tough for you to continue. Everyone knows that sit-ups and crunches are exercises for your abs. Those exercises are sometimes very difficult to do. There are other exercises that will work your abs as well. One great exercise is the bicycle exercise. You lie flat on your back on the floor and bring your legs up in the air. Once you have your legs up you do a pedaling motion just like you are riding an invisible bicycle in the air. You can also try the half curl exercise. Once again lie on your back on the floor then place your feet flat on the floor with your knees up. Now place your hands on your thighs. What you are going to do is to contract your muscles and let your fingertips touch your knees. Once you get to your knees you are going to breathe in and slowly lower yourself until your back is on the floor again. You should make sure that you are not tucking your chin because this can cause your neck to hurt. One more great abdominal exercise that does not require equipment is the vertical leg crunch. Lie on your back on the floor and put your legs straight up in the air. You will also need to cross your knees. If you find this to be a difficult position to hold you can put your hands flat on the floor for support. You simply contract your abs and lift your shoulder blades off of the floor. Then slowly lower yourself down. With these simple exercises you can work towards the abs that you have always wanted.
