Learning about lyric writing, demands some formal types of training. But, you can do it. Writing of song lyrics depend on the idea to write about. A very deep sense of music is also important. There are many folk songs written by illiterate person who is totally ignorant about musical basics. But remember he or she had a very good sense of music. Think about the gypsy songwriter, they travel to place to place and see whatever happens. They have a very good sense to tell their experiences in the form of romantic or mysterious songs. They do not possess any educational degree on lyrics writing but they are good at it. So, it is important to try to express your experiences in songs.

Once you can convert your own experiences or inspiration into a song topic, and then try to make lyrics. It is important to fill your lyric with relevant content. The whole song should express a single expression of life. If you express two or three different expressions in one lyric it wouldn’t sound well. So, try to enter into the deepest part of a real life phenomena. Try the capture the saddest theme of this experience, which will haunt every one’s mind. After selecting relevant content, try to give a shape of your lyric. Give a flowing rhythmic body to it. Your song lyric should have easy word, which can be realized by most of the listeners. Remember all of the listeners are not a highly literate person. So, use realizable words to every one. You can use some difficult word sometime if; you don’t find any alternative to them.

Finally make an assessment how good your lyric is, for singing or listening. If you don’t have deep idea about tune and music composition then ask a person who can compose music. Give your lyrics to the composer. He will say you about the compatibility of the lyrics for music composition. He may ask you to change any words, which are bad to give music.

Whatever, lyrics are some lines, related by a flowing rhyme and rhythm, expressing experience of life which are going to be sing. So, it is not difficult to write lyrics for a non-musical person. If you try hard to express your experience in lyrics, be sure it’ll be a good lyrics, and your song will be a hit one.
