Tips To Help You With Anxiety

First off you must know that there are many kinds of anxiety. This includes generalized anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, and so on. With so many types it is no wonder so many people experience it in one form or another.

Anxiety can affect so many different parts of a person's life and can degrade a person's health as well. Anxiety and stress are linked to poor brain functioning, heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, stomach problems, and even cancer. Anxiety disorders are the most common disorder in the country.

As you can see this is no laughing matter! An estimated 15 percent of Americans suffer from it. Unchecked anxiety and stress can lead to an early grave. So if you suffers from or know some one who suffers from anxiety please use the tips i am giving you here to help yourself or the ones you love to live better. Life is already to short as we all know and with all of us under an onslaught of stressors in our day to day live this information is all the more important. If you have anxiety you need to learn to deal with it as soon as you can. Your anxiety does not have to rule your life. You can live the life you want and these tips can help you with that.

Now then anxiety stems from the body's natural flight or fight reflex. In some people this natural reflex is active too much and leads to a wide range of symptoms. These symptoms include a general feeling of terror, racing or pounding heart and can even go as far as pain or heaviness in the chest. It can make breathing difficulty, trembles, and lightheaded. You may also have clammy hands and tingling in the arms and legs.

These feeling can be so bad that the person may not even think they will survive. One of the worst things about this is that many panic attacks seem to have no cause. That is right some people can have panic attacks any where for no reason. About 5 percent of adults have panic attacks and panic attacks can last for minutes each.

There are other forms of anxiety that are not as bad but are more common.

it can help you! It has been found to reduces anxiety, stress, tension, and anger. It can also boost your mood. The list goes on and on exercise can help you big time,
Stay Positive
One study found that people who kept track of their gratitude once a week were more upbeat and had fewer complaints then others. It also found that people who were pessimistic had a higher risk of dying over a 30 year period then the ones that were optimistic.
Help Others
i know you must be thinking "oh boy here we go again" but please don't stop reading just yet. This really can help you. it has been proven in many studies. The research hints that it might even help you live longer.
Eat Well
eating well can help you. It can affect moods, boost energy, contact stress on the body, and even lower your risk for certain diseases.
Get help
you don't have to go it alone. Even if you're not sure you can benefit from help seek it out. There are so many places you can get help. If you are feeling suicidal you can call 1-800-273-talk (8255). It is on 24/7.
