If there is one thing I've learned in my quest to make money on the web is that there is a LOT of content out there. There are many pages that claim they have the secret. But just like in any line of work, the only real secret is hard work and determination.
As a newbie to the world of online marketing, you might be tempted by some of what we'll call "The Get Rich Quick ...even if you're a complete idiot... never want to get out of bed... and have no money to invest" schemes.
These internet marketing or "work from home" sites are just pre-written sales pitches that the site owner paid a fee for and he or she has NO actual personal knowledge or experience in making money on web. Be on the lookout. These pages usually have red and blue text, big headings, no graphics and make a lot of promises but provide essentially no useable information. All that they ultimately offer is a link for you to click on. The link will take you to the same company they paid and ask you to pay a fee for the right to use the same useless text they have up on their site in the hopes that you will dupe some unsuspecting would-be entrepreneur into signing up and on an on. It is a pyramid scheme of sorts and like all pyramid schemes... most people make little to no money and eventually it just collapses.
This is not the way to go and I don't recommend it.
There is still money to be made on the internet, but it's going to take a lot bigger investment of your time than it takes to pay a guy for a crappy page of vague information.
On this site I am going to make a concerted effort you provide real, tangible, simple and clear information that will will give you the tools you need to learn from the bottom up how to build a site that will bring in a return.
