1. You'll brand your web site, business and yourself by submitting articles. With every article, you are given the opportunity to promote your business with the resource/bio box where you can provide your web site address, e-mail address and other business information.
2. People with read your article and think of you as an expert. This will give you and your business extra credibility which will help you compete against your competition. And just in case you are thinking "I'm not an expert" just remember this: you know more than someone out there!
3. The publisher might also decide to post your article on their web site's home page. If they publish each issue on their home page this will give you some extra exposure. Since the home page of any web site usually has the highest PR of any web page on the site, your site will get a boost in it's PR as well as get noticed by the search engines faster.
4. If the e-zine publisher archives their e-zine on their site, you will get extra exposure well into the future with no additional work. Why is this? It's because many people like to read past issues to evaluate the content they will receive if the subscribe. In addition, many people find that the information that they are receiving in their subscription is so good that they want to read all of the past issues as well.
5. You will get free advertising! But it will generate profit that you can use on other types of advertising. You could buy advertisements in other e-zines or web sites that don't publish your articles or through Google Adwords or text/banner ads. Your advertising options will grow more and more varied.
6. You might get extra income from people wanting to hire you to write other articles, books, or even ask to speak at seminars. Just watch your income and business grow larger and larger without additional work. The whole thing ends up feeding itself more and more... becoming bigger and bigger practically on its own.
7. Grant e-zine publishers the right to publish your articles in free e-books. Because e-books don't cost anything to produce or send out, they can easily spread like a virus or wildfire. If you give it to say 30 people and they give it to 20 and they give it to 10 then your article will have been read by 6,000 people! I can't tell you how many times I receive e-books that have my articles from friends that I never even sent the e-book to in the first place! 8. You will get your article published all over the web when you submit it to an e-zine publisher that has a free content directory on their web site. Their readers will be allowed to take your articles and publish them on their web sites as long as those new web sites give their readers the opportunity to do the same.
9. Your readers will trust you. Your readers won't be hesitant to buy your product or service if the like the article that you wrote. Your sales conversions and profits will go through the roof!
10. You could get your article guaranteed to run in an e-zine. You can create a win/win situation by agreeing with another publisher to trade articles to be published in each others' e-zines.
