I have friends that don't do article marketing because they think it's too tough to keep coming up with fresh content or that someone has already said it.
But they can talk my ear off for an hour without repeating anything.
People, it's not as tough as you might think to get targeted traffic to your web pages and start making money.
So, I thought I would give these people my top 3 tips for article marketing successfully.
Note: Do it right and you don't even need unique content. You can use private label rights articles or PLR articles and do just fine because it's not all about unique content. It's about giving people what they are looking for.
My Top Three Article Marketing Tips:
Tip #1 - Know Your Niche Keywords
If you just start publishing articles without paying close attention to the keywords that others are searching in your niche you will most likely go unnoticed which also means you will not be earning the money you desire or expected to be earning.
Use Google's Keyword Tool and start a bit of research on the keywords in your niche or market. Don't know where the tool is? That's cool, just open up a tab and goto Google.com. From there just do a search for Google's Keyword Tool and it will most likely be the first item on the page.
Tip #2 - Use Your Keywords Correctly
Just knowing what your keywords are isn't enough. You need to use them and use them correctly.
Example: If you write an article make sure your web site has a page with a similar article but don't use the same article as you will be publishing.
Use the same keyword phrase you used in the article on your web site making sure it's in your title and then I like to have it at least twice in a 300 word article, maybe even three times but don't try to stuff your article with the keyword as it will work against you.
Tip #3 - Publish Your Article on EzineArticles.com First
This is great advice so don't skip over this one. There is nothing wrong with publishing the same content in more than one place, especially article directories.
The only thing that I have found about submitting articles to article directories is that if you publish an article elsewhere first EzineArticles will find it and then they won't publish your article so be sure to publish on EzineArticles.com first.
Once you have the acceptance notice then go for it and start publishing that article on other article directories.
Note: It is always best to try and make your articles unique so take a few minutes and change it up a bit before publishing.
