Simple ways of helping this is to produce a glossy, full colour finish.

Menu design and printing is an art form so to speak, with there not being any real set rules, or guarantees of success. There will be many companies available that will be able to call upon their experiences to create your menu, but if you fancy making it yourself, read on for some useful tips.

Unfortunately when people decide to create their menus themselves, they often overlook the importance of structuring the dishes logically. When this happens, people find it incredibly difficult to find what they are looking for, which can be disastrous, especially if the menu is for a takeaway food, where a customer is likely to pick up a competitors menu instead. Group food items together and list them sequentially!

Images should be used as a key selling point for some of your more popular or signature dishes. Too many images will dilute the effect they have on the customer, as will using poor images. Only use high quality and high resolution images if you want your menu to look professional, and always avoid using tacky looking clipart!
